THE DIAMOND

Many are the legends tied to the diamonds: the ancient believed that they were the tears of of the falls on the earth, the Greeks believed that they were star fragments, many supported the existence of one go them in Asia full of diamonds and guarded from birds and magical snakes.

The word diamond derives from the Greek adamas that it wants to say inconquistabile, the diamond is the harder natural material that the man knows, and is constituted from a crystalline carbon reticulum.

The diamonds were known from the man already 4,000 years ago, but their formation is the much most ancient one and laughed them to 2,5 billions of years.
