QUALITY
The diamond value determines
based on four characteristic calls the 4C.
Carat weight
the weight, and consequently the largeness, of a diamond
comes expressed in carats. A carat is fixed to 0,2 grams.
Moreover the carat is divided in 100 points. Pe which
a diamond of 25 points hung 0,25 carats
Clarity
Nearly all the diamonds contain of the carbon inclusions
not crystallized, some are not visible to eye knot.
Little inclusions are, rarer are the diamond. Three
main international systems of graduazione exist in order
to classify the diamonds: GIA, CIBJO and HRD.
Colour
the greater part of the diamonds appears ink of a tenuous
yellow or brown, but many rare incolori are also the
diamonds. Other anchor rarer is in nature of color very
defined in prevalence in colors like green, red, blue
or amber.
Cut
the cut of the diamond influences the flashing and the
fire, and is one characteristic due the ability of the
cutter and to its ability to reveal the beauty of the
gem. A diamond is cut correctly when the light comes
reflected from the facets of the fuoriesca pavilion
so that from the advanced part of the diamond.
